The design emerged from the clients desires and wishes, along with the possibilities the site presented. The private zones face the forest and stream, while the public zone focuses on the grand view of the valley below through the 16 foot high set of windows in the living room.

A major design objective was to take the approx. 8,000 sq.ft. of living area and produce an inviting, non-"monster-home" house.
