What is CIPA ...
The Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists (CIPA) is a national, non-profit
organization dedicated to the art of the portraiture. CIPA's membership
is made up of Senior, Associate, Active & Supporting Members, including
students of portraiture, patrons and benefactors.
Goals of the Institute
CIPA's goal is to be a vital resource on the subject of classical and contemporary Canadian portraiture. Through annual exhibitions, a web site and workshops CIPA promotes excellence in the art of the portrait. Our mandate includes educating the public and mentoring students.
CIPA Annual Open Exhibition
Open to all artists 18 years
or older, regardless of geographic location Artists may submit no more
than two entries (four slides). Works in 2 and 3 dimensions of any medium,
including sculpture, will be accepted....
