Story is simple but made me smile. Reminds me of seeing a skinny man with a huge ugly wife. He is happy as can be to have her. Better than being lonely I guess.

I agree. Simple elements, but well executed - sort of like Sgt Bilko! Good pacing and punch. --And a moral to boot! Actually, this little comic sketch has aged pretty well.
